I'm Victoria Ruta, the owner of VR Designs! I received a Bachelor of Science in Art and Design from Towson University. My passion and creativity for design started as a child when I would find myself constantly beading necklaces and weaving friendship bracelets. Now an industry professional, my design background and career in production has enabled me to craft a body of work inspired by my surroundings. The shorelines from my childhood and the skyline of New York City are recurring themes in my designs. My work explores the relationship between ornate art deco patterns and nautical imagery, which evoke a sense of memory in the wearer.
